General conditions of sale

RESERVING YOUR STAY

Booking one of our stays implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, our personal data protection policy (GDPR), as well as the internal regulations of the relevant campsite or residence.

 

The full names and ages of all participants (including newborn babies) must be provided no later than upon arrival.
For obvious safety reasons (swimming pool, possible campsite evacuation, etc.) or health reasons, minors not accompanied by an adult are not permitted.


Bookings for student integration weekends or groups are not permitted.
 

Any changes to your booking or file must be notified in writing.
Subletting is strictly prohibited, and anyone arriving without being listed on the booking will be refused access to the campsite and accommodation.

 

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, accommodation services provided on a specific date or during a defined period are not subject to the right of withdrawal.

PAYMENT TERMS

For any booking made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 25% of the total amount of the booked services must be paid, along with the booking fees, which are non-refundable.

For stays in mobile homes/chalets/houses/apartments, the booking fees are as follows:
* €27 for stays of 5 nights or more (except €10 in the Netherlands),
* €11 (for stays of 1 to 4 nights).

For stays on bare pitches, booking fees are free of charge, except in France for stays of 7 nights or more between 10/07 and 22/08: €10.

The remaining balance of your stay must be paid 30 days before your arrival date. If payment is not received, and after an email/phone reminder, the stay will be cancelled.

For any booking made less than 30 days before the start of the stay, full payment of the stay is required at the time of booking by credit card.
 

Any change in the applicable VAT rate or local taxes occurring between the price calculation and invoicing will result in a corresponding adjustment to the total price including tax.
 

Cancellation cover is optional. It must be purchased and paid for at the same time as the deposit.
Its cost is 3% of the net accommodation price, with a minimum of:

 * €9 for stays of 1 to 4 nights,

 * €22 for stays of 5 nights or more.

PRICES

Our prices include:

* access to the campsite facilities,

* access to entertainment and activities,

* access to the water park,

* water consumption,

* electricity, except for touring pitches and monthly rentals,

* equipment corresponding to the capacity of the booked accommodation,

* one parking space for one vehicle per rental,

* access to the free activities offered on site.
For campsite pitch bookings, a maximum of 6 people are allowed per pitch.

 

Our prices do not include:

* additional vehicle,

* additional tent,

* additional person,

* pets,

* trailer,

* day visitors,

* cancellation cover,

* booking fees,

* tourist tax,

* any household waste taxes,

* rental of bed linen, towels and baby kit.
 

 

An end-of-stay cleaning service can be booked as an additional option. Its price varies depending on the type of accommodation. Please contact the campsite directly for further information.
Our prices may change depending on economic and commercial conditions. Promotional offers introduced after booking are not retroactive and cannot give rise to any refund of the price difference.

The amount of tourist tax, set by the relevant local authorities, may be subject to change during the season.

 

COME SEE US

If you notice any issue with your accommodation upon arrival, particularly regarding its general condition, cleanliness or equipment, please report it to reception within 24 hours.

 

Our teams will do their utmost to respond quickly and resolve the situation.

 

After this period, complaints relating to the initial condition of the accommodation may no longer be considered, except in duly justified exceptional circumstances.

DEPOSIT

A €200 security deposit will be required for your rental accommodation. This amount will be charged before your arrival and refunded within 48 hours after your departure, subject to any deductions applicable in the cases mentioned below.

On certain campsites and in some cases, a non-refundable €1 bank verification may be carried out to validate your payment method.

 

IMPORTANT: our aim is never to keep your deposit. We simply ask you to return the accommodation clean and in good condition. If you have any doubts, our reception team is available to assist you.

 

6.1. Accommodation Deposit

Rented accommodation and pitches must be returned in the same condition as when they were provided.

In the event of damage (breakages, missing equipment, deterioration), we will inform you. The costs required for repairs may then be deducted from the deposit or, if applicable, charged separately.

 

6.2. Cleaning / End-of-Stay Cleaning Deposit

Accommodation must be returned in a satisfactory state of cleanliness at the end of your stay, including:

* cleaned floors,

* washed dishes,

* folded and stored blankets,

* emptied bins,

* clean cupboards,

* cleaned kitchen and shower rooms/toilets.

If you notice any issues upon arrival, you must inform reception within 24 hours so that an intervention can be organised as quickly as possible.

If the accommodation is not returned in a satisfactory state of cleanliness at the end of your stay, cleaning and restoration costs may be charged and deducted from your deposit after prior notification.

 

6.3. Deduction amounts according to accommodation category

*€120: standard rental accommodation (2-bedroom Chalet, Moon, Mini-Habana, Habana, Kalliopée, Sun, Cabin Tent/Comfort/Safari Tent, Studio, etc.)

*€160: 3-bedroom Chalet - Resort - Bizouquet/Kids 5 - Lodge - Bart - Callisto - Thalia - Resort Bay - Caribou - 2-room apartment - Duplex - Chalet Patio 4

*€195: Chalet Patio 6 - Bizouquet/Kids 7 - Max 4 and Max 6 - Raoul/Jasmin 4 and Raoul/Jasmin 6 - Family (4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom) - Farés - Amnésia 6 and Amnésia 8 (including mobile home and cabin) - Falabraque 6 and Falabraque 8 - Thalia (including mobile home and cabin) - 3-room apartment / Gîte (under 60m²)

*€230: Super Family (4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) - 3-room duplex

*€290: Tribu/Tribu Bizouquet

*€325: Tribu Villa / House/Villa/Apartment / Gîte from 60m² - 5-room Duplex

*€390: House/Villa/Apartment from 150m²

 

You can book an end-of-stay cleaning service. This service is charged according to the category of your accommodation. Prices are available at reception.

This service does not exempt you from returning the accommodation in a minimum clean condition, including emptied bins, washed dishes, folded blankets and collected rubbish.

 

6.4. Other cases of deposits or deductions

An additional deposit may be requested on certain campsites for specific services, including:

* a Top Presta pitch,

* barbecue rental,

* bicycle rental,

* provision of a barrier access badge,

* or any other specific service.

In case of loss:

* €10 may be deducted for each lost wristband.

* €30 may be deducted in case of lost accommodation keys.

OUR ACCOMMODATION AND SERVICES

Due to the diversity of our range, accommodation may differ in layout, age and decoration.

 

Any request relating to the location, orientation or position of the accommodation is considered a preference. We will do our best to take it into account, but this cannot constitute a contractual commitment.

 

Emergency works carried out by the campsite, a public authority or a third party near the site, which may temporarily affect your stay, shall not engage our liability.

 

At the beginning or end of the season, some shops, services or activities may be unavailable. We recommend that you check with the campsite.

 

For safety reasons, the campsite may occasionally need to close a playground, facility or installation.

ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES

Accommodation arrivals are possible from 4 pm until 8 pm.

Departures must take place before 11 am, and before 10 am for:

* villa/house stays,

* partner campsites.

 

Camping pitches are available from 2 pm and must be vacated before 12 pm.

 

In the event of a late arrival or early departure, you must inform the campsite or residence. Pitches and mobile homes are allocated according to availability. For organisational reasons, they may be changed until the keys are officially handed over.
If you do not arrive on the scheduled arrival date and have not informed us at least 24 hours in advance, we reserve the right to make the accommodation available for resale.

 

Any booking made after 7 pm for a same-day arrival does not allow for on-site check-in, as no concierge or security service is available at this time. Therefore, access to your accommodation will not be possible on the same evening. We kindly ask you to come to the campsite reception the following day during opening hours to collect your accommodation.


Any departure after 2 pm will be charged as one additional night according to the current rate.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

We cannot be held responsible for unforeseen circumstances, force majeure events, exceptional weather conditions, administrative or legal decisions, or any external event likely to disrupt, interrupt or prevent the stay, or lead to the modification, cancellation or closure of certain entertainment, activities or facilities.
 

Any complaint relating to a stay must be submitted within 10 days after the end of your stay, via the satisfaction questionnaire automatically sent by email.
 

Our Customer Service team will do its best to process your request within 3 months. The response will be available in your Clix account.

 

 

If no satisfactory response is provided within 3 months following a written request to Customer Service, the customer may refer the matter to the relevant mediator:

The European online dispute resolution platform is also available.

 

Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with the applicable provisions of the French Code of Civil Procedure.

MODIFICATION OF STAY

Any change of destination is possible during the current season, up to 14 days before arrival, subject to availability and upon written request sent to the campsite.

The first change is free of charge. From the second change onwards, a modification fee of €27 will apply. These fees are non-refundable.

 

CANCELLATION OF STAY

In the event of cancellation before arrival, interruption of the stay or late arrival, whatever the reason, no refund will be granted unless cancellation cover has been purchased and applies under the conditions set out below.
 

 

Cancellation Cover

If you have purchased cancellation cover, you may benefit from:

* a refund of the amounts paid, excluding booking fees and the cost of the cancellation cover.
* a pro-rata refund for the unused part of the stay in the event of early departure, excluding booking fees, the cost of cancellation cover and cleaning fees.
 

Cancellation cover applies if the reason preventing the stay concerns the customer, their spouse/partner, the persons named in the booking, their ascendants or descendants, or those of their spouse/partner, and results from one of the following events:
* death,
* illness not known at the time of booking,
* personal accident occurring after the booking,
* death of a brother, sister, son-in-law or daughter-in-law,
* administrative, legal, military or jury summons,
* redundancy,
* professional transfer,
* bankruptcy of the company managed by the customer.
 

In the event of illness or personal accident, the request must be supported by a medical document dated less than one month before the arrival date.
 

Any cancellation must be notified directly to the relevant place of stay.
To benefit from cancellation cover, the reason for cancellation must be reported to the campsite or residence no later than 24 hours before arrival.
 

Supporting documents must be sent within 10 days from the cancellation date.

 

INTERNAL REGULATIONS

Each campsite has its own internal rules displayed at reception. These rules apply to all guests present on the site.

Any behaviour that disturbs the stay of other guests, any physical or verbal violence, any threats towards staff or other customers, or any attitude endangering the safety of people or property, may result in immediate exclusion from the campsite, without refund.

 

Accommodation

For safety and hygiene reasons, smoking is prohibited inside the accommodation. In the event of non-compliance with this rule and if a smell of tobacco is found in the accommodation, €200 may be deducted from the deposit.
 

 

Pets

Pets are not allowed on certain campsites. In all cases, they are prohibited around swimming pools, sanitary facilities and dining areas.

When permitted, pets must be kept on a lead at all times. A vaccination record may be requested at any time.

A maximum of two pets are allowed per accommodation or pitch.

Category 1 and 2 dogs are prohibited in France. As regulations may vary depending on the country, it is the customer’s responsibility to check directly with the campsite before arrival.

 

Accommodation occupancy

No additional installation, additional vehicle or additional person is permitted without prior approval from the campsite.

For safety and insurance reasons, the number of occupants may not exceed the capacity provided for the type of accommodation booked, including newborn babies. Otherwise, access to the accommodation may be refused upon arrival.

 

Equipment and barbecue
Barbecues may be prohibited on certain campsites. Any additional electrical equipment must be approved by the campsite manager before arrival.

Children remain under the responsibility and supervision of their parents.

 

Electric vehicle charging

For safety reasons, accommodation is not equipped for charging electric or hybrid vehicles.

Charging a vehicle using the electrical outlet of an accommodation is strictly prohibited.

Such use may cause damage to the vehicle, the accommodation or the campsite’s electrical network, and may create a serious risk of fire or short circuit.

In the event of a breach of this rule, a fixed amount of €200 per week may be deducted from the deposit.

NATURIST BEHAVIOUR AND CONDUCT

Our naturist establishments are approved according to certain criteria by the French Naturist Federation, 26 Rue Paul Belmondo, 75012 Paris, under No. 59 of 09.01.69, the management reserves the right to refuse access or exclude any person whose behavior is in disagreement with the naturist criteria. We ask people who have piercings on their private parts, out of respect for everyone and especially for children, to remove them during their stay.

AQUATIC CENTER

In the swimming pools, swimwear is mandatory, as well as wearing the wristband. We remind you that swimming pools and slides can be dangerous. The customer shall be held responsible in the event of non-compliance with the rules for using the slides or the swimming pool regulations. A safety notice will be provided and must be signed by the customer upon arrival.


As swimming pools and slides may involve risks, they must be used in strict compliance with the instructions.

 

In the event of non-compliance, the customer may be held responsible.

Young children must wear nappies specifically designed for swimming.

Children who cannot swim must wear suitable arm bands.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Some slides are subject to specific conditions regarding height, age or use. Customers must check this information with the campsite.

Day visitors do not have access to the water park areas for insurance reasons.

The campsite may temporarily close all or part of the aquatic area for technical, safety or hygiene reasons.

Access to the aquatic areas is strictly prohibited outside opening hours.

INSURANCE

LIBRANOO cannot be held responsible in the event of theft, fire, natural events, natural disasters, force majeure, power cuts attributable to the supplier, or any incident falling under the customer’s responsibility.

 It is the customer’s responsibility to check that they have insurance covering:
          * their civil liability,
          * their personal belongings during their stay,
          * their rental liability as an occupant.

The customer must also be covered for any damage they may cause in the accommodation, on the campsite or to the equipment provided, whether caused by themselves or by the people accompanying them.

Proof of insurance may be requested.

In the event of renting or borrowing a bicycle, barbecue or other equipment, the customer must also check that they are insured against theft, loss or damage.
 

IMPORTANT NOTE

Despite all the care taken in preparing our brochures, commercial materials and websites, material errors, omissions or typographical errors may exceptionally occur.

Only the rental agreement confirmed at the time of booking shall have contractual value.

Personal data and GDPR regulations

We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data and ensure strict compliance with current regulations.

 

Libranoo, the campsites affiliated with Libranoo and Capfun, are responsible for data processing and handle all information with the utmost confidentiality.

 

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer. Their email address is dpo@capfun.com. They will respond to all your questions as quickly as possible. This email address is shared between capfun.com and libranoo.com, and all Capfun and Libranoo campsites.

 

What data is collected?

 

On libranoo.com, by phone or on our campsite website :

When you make a reservation on Libranoo.com, with our call center, on a campsite's direct website, or by telephone with a campsite, we collect the following personal data :

  • Name and surname (of the person making the reservation and accompanying persons)
  • Date of birth (of the person making the reservation and accompanying persons)
  • Email (from the booking author only)
  • Mailing address (optional) (of the author of the reservation only)
  • Phone (of the booking author only)

 

Satisfaction surveys – following your stay we will ask you questions

Our customers' opinions are essential and allow us to improve.
Following your stay, we will email you three times requesting you to complete a satisfaction survey. If you respond, we will store your feedback on your stay for five years.
This notice is available for consultation by LIBRANOO customer service and management teams.
It is relayed on the site avis.capfun.com, on libranoo.com and on the campsite website in an anonymous form. (We do not see your email or your name) - It thus transparently allows our new customers to see what you thought of us.
When you submit your review, you have the option to check an option that specifies that you do not want your review to appear on avis.capfun.com. In this case, your review will not be made public.
On your CliX account and in our systems we store :

  • The history of your stays over the last 5 years
  • The satisfaction surveys you responded to following your vacations over the past 5 years.

 

If you are applying to one of our campsites.

Our website carriere.capfun.com allows you to apply for positions at one of our campsites or at our headquarters. We collect the following information for this purpose.

  • First and last name
  • Date of birth
  • address
  • Mailing adresse
  • CV
  • Cover letter

This information can be viewed by campsite management teams and CAPFUN's HR department. It is deleted after 18 months.

 

Information we do not store:
All your payment information (credit card numbers) is not stored on our servers but with our banking partner without the LIBRANOO teams having access to it.

LIBRANOO has appropriate policies and technical organizational measures to safeguard and protect your personal data against unlawful or unauthorized access, accidental loss or destruction, damage, unauthorized use and unlawful disclosure.
 
In any case, the user is informed that any data transmission over the Internet is not completely secure and as such is carried out at his or her own risk. Although we do our best to protect your personal data, LIBRANOO cannot guarantee the security of personal data transmitted via our website.
 
 
Password Policy
Because a password is sensitive, and no computer system is inviolable despite our efforts, we have chosen to generate a secure password for you when you create your Clix account.
 
It will be sent to you by email only. Lost your password? We'll regenerate it for you on this page (https://www.capfun.com/clix/connexion.php) and then resend it to you by email. We do not want to store your personal passwords on our servers.
 
This way, if our machines are hacked, our attackers won't be able to hack into your other personal accounts (email, Facebook, etc.).
 
 
Information we collect automatically

Your data is not transferred outside the European Union. You can view it in your Clix personal space at any time.
 
 
How long do we keep your data?
We will only retain your data for as long as necessary to perform our services or as required by law. After this period, your personal data will be deleted. We cannot delete your data if there is a legal retention obligation, for example, if it is required by accounting law or if there is a legal reason to retain the data, such as an ongoing contractual relationship.
Data relating to customers who have taken a vacation with LIBRANOO is kept for 10 years if and only if there has been at least one stay in the last 5 years.
 

If you have not purchased from LIBRANOO for the last 5 years, all your data will be deleted.
 

Data relating to the carrière.capfun.com website or if you apply to LIBRANOO is kept for 18 months and then deleted after this period.
We can delete your data upon your request. Simply write to us by email at dpo@capfun.com or by mail at Capfun, DPO Service, 73 Parc de l'Argile, 06370 Mouans Sartoux.

Right to image
The client expressly authorizes LIBRANOO to photograph or film them during their stay, free of charge, and to use the photos, videos, or audio on any media, for a period of 5 years. This authorization also applies to all persons staying with the client. Its purpose is to promote LIBRANOO.
If you do not want us to share your photos in any way, simply notify our campsite manager upon your arrival. If, despite this, a photo of you or one of your companions accidentally appears on one of our marketing materials, a simple email to dpo@capfun.com will be enough for us to immediately remove the photo or video. Libranoo may modify its legal notices at any time, particularly if the current legislation changes. Any changes will be posted on the Site or communicated to you by email.
 
In accordance with Law 2014-344 of March 17, 2014, you can request to object to telephone canvassing by registering on the BLOCTEL list.(www.bloctel.gouv.fr)
 
Hébergement Libranoo
In application of the law of March 11, 1957 (art. 41) and the intellectual property code of July 1, 1992, any partial or total reproduction for collective use is strictly prohibited without authorization from the company Capfun / Libranoo.
 
The logos, visuals, and trademarks present on this site are the property of their respective owners. This site may, without its knowledge, have been linked to other sites through hyperlinks. Libranoo declines all responsibility for the information presented on these other sites. The Internet user acknowledges that the use of this site is governed by French law.


Intellectual property
